Campaigning Fellowship

Campaigning Fellowship

The Islamic Council of Victoria (ICV) in partnership with Democracy in Colour launches a new initiative; an exciting new program to train passionate young community-minded Muslim Youth in campaigning, advocacy and strategic community leadership.

The Campaign Fellowship aims in developing new leaders in the Muslim community who wish to make a positive change and valuable contributions to local community and wider Australian society. The program will help build knowledge, networks & relationships, skills, and confidence to participate and lead issue-based social and political campaigns.

The program will train 20 young Muslims (ages 15-35) with all the skills they’d need to know to be effective change-makers – covering areas like campaign strategy, project management, communications & messaging/framing, media, political engagement, and more.

If you wish to have a further say in society and further your skills in organising successful campaigns, here’s your opportunity.  Applications close on Monday 4th September 2017
